I am currently on a bus on my way back to Albury. I had a nice weekend back home in Melbourne. My sister had her 21st, and it was a blast. I might post pics eventually. But I'm pretty lazyyy.

I haven't finished my assignment, but I'm on track. As soon as I get back to residence, I'll have a crack, and hopefully finish before bedtime.

Anyone wanna know anything about me? Go right ahead, I'll answer.

Assignments, how I hate thee.

I have an assignment due on Monday, and I still haven't started. God, I hate them. I feel like, if I ignore it, it will go away. Of course, that is not the case, and I'm just making it worse for myself. Notice I'm updating this, rather than work on it. Bah!

FYI it's on Indigenous Australians, and I just don't know how to write it. :(

My meds aren't working very well. I'm snappy and down and feeling a little suicidal. delicious /sarcasm. I need to see a doctor for a referral, but I don't have the time right now. Maybe at the end of the holidays, I can see my doctor at home in Melbourne.

I am so so sorry!

I've been so busy!
You see, as I type this, I am actually in my new dorm room at University!!! Cool huh! I've just been so stressed over what to bring, forms to get sorted etc etc, that I couldn't even think to write an entry. But I'm here now, and I've enjoyed a full and fun O-week (orientation week) full of nightclubbing, trivia, drinking and making new friends. Oh, and I've been yelling/screaming so much that I've lost my voice XD. It was getting better, but then had to belt out some "don't forget the lyrics" to get some bonus points for trivia night. But it paid off, we won! $50 in vouchers!! :D But it's finally healing, so i just have to drink lots of fluids :)

So umm, what to say. Class starts on Monday, so I'll see how we go. :) I haven't bought my books yet, I have been told by many sources to wait until the second week to purchase them, because the teacher will tell you which ones to get specifically, and which ones just to photocopy chapters :P

Oh, I guess I should tell you what i'm living in. It's a communal cottage. 8 single bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a share kitchen/loungeroom. It's nice a quiet, but still lively if I want some company. I'd forgotten how nice it is to just have company :)

I'll probably post next week sometime about my first "real" week. So stay tuned!

I went to my allergist doctor on Thursday. Turns out I'm allergic to cladosporium mould and yeast. Yay /sarcasm. All yeast. So there goes bread, biscuits, muffins, cakes, mayo, vinegar, soy sauce, vegemite and beer. Fuck.

Then I saw my shrink on Friday. We finally switched me over to a new medication, so yay, no more weight gain and hardcore withdrawals. And now all I need is cognative therapy, so I can go to a normal psychologist now.

Mum took me shopping for new clothes for Uni, so I got a new pair of jeans and some 3/4's and a few tops. A good haul ;)

Wanna go book shopping tomorrow, but I should be saving my dosh. Guess I'll hve to wait and see. :)

Fuck you Summer. Fuck you.

Melbourne is in the middle of a heatwave right now. 40℃+ for 4/5 days, and we are only into day 2. :( last night, the lowest the temp got was 28℃. And we have no air con. And I am also living in the family caravan due to a house shift and paint, so all I had was unzipped windows and a fan. I woke up at 7am and I knew straight away that I had to get inside the house and shut it up, because the sun was just creeping over the horizon was already heating up the air.

So after tolerating the heat until 2pm (I had to watch oprah :P ) I got a lift down to the local shopping complex and plan to stay here until 9pm closing.

Take that Summer!

lolwut

My subject titles suck. Lol.

I go to see an allergist today. Yay! It took me 6 months to get this appt. Yah, srsly, I wanted to get an appointment, and they were all "okay, you can have jan 09"....that booking was made mid-08. Loooool.

I was having this MASSIVE reaction to something (my guess is milk) and huge itchy welts would appear on my skin (I'm talking size of baseballs).
So I have already cut out all dairy products (nooooo my precious chocolate!) and have had no problems so far. But I'm still getting some itches everynow and then, and it will be good to at least confirm my dairy-reaction.

Then I might go get a manicure. I find it difficult to grow my nails, so they are nice and long for a change.

So does anyone have an allergy? I'm talking anything, not just food. I'm also allergic to bandaids (the adhesive leaves welts), and some multi vitamins. My sister can't wear cheap metals and is allergic to bees.

Am I a bad person? lol, naaaahhhh :P

My sister offered to take me to the pictures, because she hadn't seen twilight yet and wanted the company. I said yes because I was curious to see how the movie played with the book.

For the record, I'm not really a Twilight fan. I have read the series through, and while I liked the premise the first book was setting, just like the matrix trilogy, it all went downhill from there. Too many coincidences and dodgy plot twists for my liking.

Aaaannyyyyway. There is a scene where Bella asks Edward if he watches her sleep, and he replies "I know it's...." and where he paused, I spoke aloud in the theatre in a sing-song voice "creeepyyyy" and got some laughs. My sister however, was throughly embarrassed, and has refused to go with me to the movies again. But I TOLD her I go to the movies alone for this reason...I'm a smartarse in movies.

*sigh*

But it was still awesome :P

So a question: Would you be embarrassed to go to the movies with me, knowing I'm a bit of a commentator?

Haha, I forgot to post!

Wahhhhhh!
So I got a uni offer! Yay!
It's "Early Childhood and Primary Education" at Charles Sturt University....in Albury-Wodonga XD. For those not geographically in the know, it's in the country, on the border of Victoria and New South Wales. So I will be moving onto the campus at the residential village.

So hopefully, after 4 years of study, I will become a primary school teacher! :D

Ahhhh. I'm just so relieved it's all over for now. Now to start a new journey.

Tomorrow is bigger than today.

Tomorrow is the day 1st round university results come out. I'm really hoping I get into my Librarian degree. If not...*sigh* back to the drawing board perhaps. My ENTER was above the "clearly in" score, but I forgot to change my preferences and didn't prioritise it as number 1 on my list, so that may have disadvantaged me.

I am also going with my mum to take my grandma to her eye doctor (actual doctor, not just optometrist). This has become an every 6 month ritual which is quite nice actually :) A nice day out with my Grandma for lunch :)

I also have to hand in my unemployment form at Centrelink (govt agency fyi). I can't wait until I can get a job or at least switch to student-benifits. But in this current environment, finding a job is, well, a bitch. It'd be so much better if I had retail experience. Alas, I've none.

Talk soon!
